Spot and Stain Removal
Life happens, and so do stains, right? Whether its your kids’ soccer cleats, your husband’s work boots or the dog, they are all culprits. In almost all situations, stains can be removed, but only with your help. Unless you have professional cleaning agents on hand, you’ll need to help us out a bit. Below are a few tips to remember when you have a nasty spill or stain.

 1. Tend to the stain as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the better the chance the stain will set, leaving your carpet cleaning effort a waste of time.

 2. Only use a clean white terry cloth or towel to soak up the stain. Blot the stain by applying pressure. Don’t rub or scrub. Start from the outside and work your way towards the center.

 3. Do not use Bleach!

Do not use a stain remover either. Simply absorb as much of the stain as you can. This is because most over-the-counter stain removers are too “watered down” to handle anything more than soil. Additionally, if you happen to use one and the stain is not completely removed, you have unfortunately “set” the stain and made it nearly impossible for a carpet cleaning technician to remove it in the future.

Stain removal is included in your carpet cleaning package with CleenCarpet®! In addition, stains that have not been tampered with through the use of a generic remover can almost always be completely removed, even if they have sat for 6 months! Only the best carpet cleaning company has the appropriate chemicals and expertise to handle these situations. Trust us to handle your hard to remove spills and stains!
